As the Qualifying Broker of Red Hills Realty, my focus is simple: create a real estate experience so good that people can’t help but refer us. With 1,000+ homes sold, 300+ five-star Zillow reviews, and 140+ five-star Google reviews, I’ve built my career—and this company—on relationships, trust, and exceptional service.
I began my professional life in the U.S. Air Force and used my GI Bill to earn my degree from Millsaps College, where I graduated with honors. From there, I worked as a CPA with KPMG and eventually served as CFO of a local bank and President of a regional mortgage company. In 1997, I followed my passion into real estate, and in 2007, I launched Red Hills Realty, which has grown steadily through referrals ever since.
Since becoming a Realtor in 1998, I’ve worked in nearly every corner of this business: earning a homebuilder’s license, building custom homes, flipping hundreds of properties, and managing a large rental portfolio for more than 20 years. This broad experience gives me a perspective that extends far beyond a single transaction—and it shapes the culture we’re building at Red Hills today.
Originally from Mississippi, I’ve called Birmingham home for more than 30 years. I have two adult children, Ali and Zac, and a grandson, Fitz. My wife of 24 years, Jill, is a Pittsburgh native and former Nebraska Cornhusker tennis player who came to Birmingham as the tennis pro at The Country Club of Birmingham. Together we have a 16-year-old son, Bram, who is a competitive golfer. Our lives revolve around our faith, our family, and Bram’s tournaments. I’m also passionate about physical fitness, personal growth, and maintaining a growth mindset.
At Red Hills Realty, we believe real estate is best done through relationships, trust, and service that earns every referral. Our agents are committed to providing the one-on-one care, professionalism, and expertise that clients deserve. Whether you’re buying or selling, the entire Red Hills team is dedicated to delivering an experience you’ll feel confident recommending.
